Remove all but a tsp of the fat and add the shallots, garlic, and mushrooms. Sweat until they are wilted but not colored. Remove the shallots, garlic and mushrooms and set aside with the browned sausage. Deglaze the pan with the Guinness and reduce to almost a syrup. Return the sausage, shallots, garlic an mushrooms to the pan and add the heavy cream. Crumble the cheese into the cream. Stir until melted. The cheese will thicken the sauce without having to do a second reduction. Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the fettuccine. Serve the sauce over fettuccine and sprinkle with freshly chopped mint leaves. The category of light beer created by Miller Lite and Bud Light was only introduced 17 years ago. Heavy ad spending and clever, humorous spots are suggested to be the reason for the unparalled success of the Bud Light brand. Since 1995, Budweiser case sales in supermarkets have fallen about 6% while Bud Light has grown more than 42%. Ms Kallman has been with the company for 15 years. The announcement was made by company president, Jim Koch. Miller executives have said that the new campaign will use humor, and will try to reconnect with the beer drinkers that were alienated over the past few years. New creative marketing will be debuted later in the year for Miller Lite. Daniels is an experienced writer and brewer at both the professional brewing and homebrewing level. He was named Beer Writer of the Year in 1998 by the North American Guild of Beer Writers and has published 6 books on beer and brewing.
