Brown sausage, onion, and thyme in a heavy skillet and set over medium heat. If UK unit Carlsberg-Tetley wins a contract to supply Punch Taverns Group Plc's pubs, Carlsberg, the UK's fourth largest beer producer, would gain an additional 2000 pubs for its delivery circuit. Carlsberg has nine years left on its current contract with the 3500 pubs recently acquired by Punch from Allied Domecq Plc. * Molson Inc will fire 287 non-union employees, a total of 8% of its work force. Canada's biggest brewery is continuing to cut costs, and returns its focus to making beer. Most lost jobs will be in the administrative area. * Mexico's tequila police are cracking down on brands using the name "tequila" without permission. Mexico's Tequila Regulatory Council, the authority over tequila distillation in Mexico, will ask bottlers in the US to stop making products using the tequila name without permission.
